Simply Toys is taking preorders for the following Weta Collectibles from the Chronicles of Narnia Movie due to open in all major cinemas in December 2005.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Weta Collectibles is proud to present a new range of exclusive collectible polystone sculptures based on Disney’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, directed by New Zealander Andrew Adamson. These beautiful pieces are hand-sculpted by the same team of artists at Weta Workshop who designed the armour, weapons and many of the creatures for the film.

Loved around the world by generations, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, tells the tale of four siblings, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, who escape the terror of wartime bombing in London to stay in a dusty old manor in the countryside. Exploring their mysterious new home, the children stumble upon a wardrobe, a portal into the mythic realm of Narnia.

Narnia is a world trapped in the cruel grip of an eternal winter. Once a place of joy and colour, now it is a pale, icy land, its inhabitants chilled by the wrath of an evil witch.
